We are only a month away from my sweetheart's second birthday! Gaaahhh! I hate that this cliche is indeed true, time flies fast! Really fast!
Yesterday she was just this tiny little plump potato:
Now, she has become my darling little lady.
Somehow, I cannot believe, that we were just celebrating her first steps last year... then last weekend she was already rocking the trampoline!!
Likes (still the same last month with the following additions)
- Jogging!!
- Dancing -- specifically, Shakira's Waka Waka (she was doing this last night until midnight!)
- Swimming - she can demonstrate it, with or without water :)
- Babysitting Agent Oso
- Video Machines (she likes hitting those buttons as if she is actually playing)
- Biking (She even helped assembling her new bike)
- Birthday Parties
- Popcorns
- Balloons
- You Tube!! I am trying to limit her use of iPad recently because she tends to watch cartoons in other languages. The other night, she showed me a penguin and said "Mommy, peng-gun!" Hala!!
Dislikes (no improvement from last month, plus the following)
- Sleeping early :(
I wonder how our life will be like when she starts schooling in a few months time. Haaay....
Anyhow, I couldn't agree more when parents say that their lives have changed tremendously with the arrival of their bundle of joy. I can testify to that, too. So let me share with you something I grabbed from my FB newsfeed.
Agree??!!!!

My dearest little sweetheart:
Gone are the days when you can be pacified by Momme's breast. Now, without clear words, you are already learning to express yourself even more. You are becoming more and more
One time, I found you under our bed, creeping to get the ball that rolled over. And when you finally came out with ball, I saw triumph on your face. I love how determined you have become but my dear sweety, I hope that you get to learn someday, if not now, that sometimes no matter how we try, we will have failures. So please, stop lying on the floor (even more on the ground!!!!) when you don't get what you want. You are giving each of us a heart attack!
Happy 23rd month baby love :)
From someone who still loves you despite your tantrums,
Momme
Yeah, Lia is so kulit recently. Super hirap na kasama for gimik. I hope she'll overcome this stage soon :)
