Horses and Trampoline (A Weekend Story)

We were Mama-less and yaya-less for the weekend so initial plan was to make out of the exclusivity and enjoy the little girl's adoration while doing some shopPing (shop hopping) at the side. However, after attending her KM class, we ended up going home and sleeping until it's time for dinner. The original plan was crossed out after our pretty little girl dragged her parents again to accompany her in a carousel ride. I don't know if it's a good or bad thing that she knows how to get to the carousel, even if she was coming from the upper floors of the mall, but for now, I wish the carousel will be repaired again it again anytime soon.

Okay, I am a selfish nanay. Sige, let it be running na lang. I will just endure all the motion sickness and Calvary if every dizzy spells will equate to the little girl's happiness.

So there, two rounds of carousel ride (one each for me and hub) took its toll on our aging body and we ended up in our bed all afternoon (thankfully, the little girl slept too. Nahilo din ata).

We woke up around 7PM and had dinner somewhere near our place (I am a trying hard baker, but not a good cook that's why). And since we slept all afternoon, we were alive, alert, awake, enthusiastic all night -- the little girl not exclusive! We spent the evening in our living room watching TV, feeding agent Oso, playing around, fighting over a pair of scissors and basically just making a big mess in the house. The bibigirl was so clingy, she wanted her parents to be with her all the time so the dishes (which have been sitting in our sink since breakfast) and her dirty feeding bottles piled up in our kitchen. We slept over an untidy house with everything scattered around.

Good thing we live in a matchbox, and good thing the hubby felt like acting as my suitor again so bibigirl and I woke up in a brand  new place. All tied up!

To reward my good looking and macho-nurin husband, I made mini-cheese bibingkas for brekky. We ate them while watching The Voice on AXN :)

We spent the rest of our Sunday morning repeating the same things we did the night before (watching TV, feeding agent Oso, playing around, fighting over a pair of scissors fork and basically just making a big mess in the house). Later on, we realized that the house went back to it's messy state it had been the night before, (I think even worse) so imagine how Mama's BP shoot up when she arrived :)

Later in the afternoon, we attended a kiddie party of a friend's daughter. My girl is really old na (I mean, not super old-old, but just old now compared before, if you know what I mean) and so independent. The minute we step into the venue, she let go of our hands and ran to where the kiddie tables are, got her seat and chatted with the other kids. She enjoyed watching the magic show, joining the kids in shouting "touch! touch!" after a dove came out of the magician's hankies and had fun tampering with the big kids' games. She also lined up for the bubble show and went inside the bubble all by herself :)

In the early evening, we went to Eastwood with the whole fam for dinner and here's what we had. Food in a clothesline :)

I hate that carousels are strategically located in the malls. The one in Eastwood Mall is just at the end of the escalator on the 3rd floor, so there's no way our bibigirl will miss it. So one ride each for me, the hub and our helper. We needed to ask for the help of the operator to ask our girl to go down because she was hugging the "hoss" (horse) so tight! My strong-willed little lady let go, but she didn't had enough. Guess what she tried also that night:

It's not a bird. It's not a plane! It's my 22-month-old bibigirl on the trampoline!
She was literally creeping on the tramp so the spoiler Lolos have no choice but to give in. Strangers of all ages stopped by to cheer for the little miss! And we all had fun watching her! The video is even more funny, but I opt not to publish for now as she had hits and misses also. So proud of my brave little girl!

Happy midweek!
