Something Like This Should Not Be Left Unrecorded

I have no plans to blog today, actually :) But here I am, sitting beside the little girl (while she's watching Disney Playhouse) and typing away using my phone. I just couldn't let the moment pass without documenting the happiness that I am feeling right now :)

Our day started super early today for our little girl's pictorial. Considering how nocturnal we all are, plus it's a Sunday today, you could imagine how hard it could have been to drag ourselves out of our bed. But we all woke up early, except for our mowdel whom we dressed up while she was still sleeping.

My sweetheart's turning two soon, and I am making it a tradition to have a photo shoot with her before her birthday. Compared last year, this morning's shoot was twice harder as the little girl becomes more and more strong willed. But it was fun! Super! Just mere looking at my sweetheart makes me wonder how it all happened. How God made the universe conspire to give me this sweet (sometimes stubborn) little creature that I call my daughter. Mommies could probably relate to me when I say that I sometimes find myself floating, and just in awe at how God makes little people that He share to us as our kids.

Not so sure if it's a good or bad one, but to be honest, sometimes I really can't believe that my daughter came from my tummy. Most of the time I feel like she's a little me, and that I am raising my own self. That may be the reason why they say that our children are our legacy. But one thing is for sure, the amazement is still there. The magic that the sight of her gives me is so powerful, it makes me forget the past and just look forward to the future. Haay, I am in cloud nine.

So here I am, ending this post with a photo of her that I took this morning. This was her, before she realized that she's no longer game for a two-hour picture taking. Haay, thank You Lord for my girl (more please -- hehe).
