Freebies (A Weekend Story)

The best things in life are free! And in my case, it usually comes on lazy weekends -- when I can stay in my pajama all day long, when nobody cares if I have washed my hair or if I have put my lipstick on. Days when there are no important phone calls to answer and emails to check; when my To Do list are only as follows:

1. Spend time with my kid and bond over books and crayons.

2. Make homemade ice cream and be ready with the tiny fingers that will get in the way.

3. Watch my child savor each spoonful of ice cream that comes in her favorite flavor: mango.

 

4. Be patient. Join my daughter in watching Disney Junior shows alternately with Frozen no matter how many times I've seen it.

5. And be more patient, let my child play and enjoy her little kingdom of mess.

6. And play hide and seek!!!

.... just like last weekend!

It was even a bonus to see the orchids from Mama's backyard, now in my own!

All the way from the house where I grew up, they are now here and I can't wait to see the blooms :)
