Last night's dinner was brought to you by Ramen Bar :) I was nursing a bad case of allergic rhinitis so I had a craving for a bowl of hot ramen to ease the colds.
Everybody deserves a second chance. Our first visit to Ramen Bar wasn't special at all so I was surprised when our visit last night brought about a new and different experience.
Their serving bowls are huge! Hubs and I shared in one serving of Shio Ramen and ordered cheezy gyoza on the side.
At first, I found the soup/broth a bit salty but good thing they provided extra broth, upon request, which we poured in the bowl and it did all the magic! The noodles are delicious. Hubs find it weird that I kept on commenting how i loved the noodles because for him they all taste the same. But for me, their tonkotsu noodles are really something special and the broth brought out extra goodness :)
The cheezy gyoza are a bit too salty but as a cheese lover, loved them anyway :)
I thought I would never come back to Ramen Bar after my first visit but as the saying goes, love is sweeter the second time around.
