Happy sunshiny Friday! I am just so happy because today, one of my favorite mommy-bloggers just passed on a Sunshine Award to me! I first met Toni of Wifely Steps in the Blog Inspired workshop few months ago and since then I was hooked to the coziness of her blog. Yes, that's how I feel every time I visit her page. It's like I am at home, listening to the sound of the rain outside while sipping a cup of hot chocolate.

11 Random Facts About Me
- I stayed in a convent on the first two years of my life. It's a long story, but no -- I am not adopted :)
- I used to have very long hair, up to my hips.
- I was 18 years old when I first had a hair cut in a salon. I had a bob cut.
- I wore teeth braces for 2.5 years.
- Like Toni, I don't know how to ride a bike too :(
- I took up driving lessons in 2009, but never drove until 2012.
- My first driving assignment after the hiatus was from Pasig to Laguna (80kms +/-).
- I was a Celine Dion fan on my teenage years. I spent most of my savings buying her "cassette tapes" and posters.
- My recent addiction is -- creme brulee! I wish I can have it everyday.
- I was almost always the class treasurer in grade school. Coz they always associate "frugality" to the post.
- I was never, and will ever be, a good dancer. Kahit i-pressure cooker pa ata ako :(

1. What advice would you give your
17-year-old self?
Go on, you are at the right track.
2. What color makes you look extra beautiful?
Hubs said I look good in yellow.
3. If you could cook only ONE dish perfectly all the time, what dish would it be and why?
My cheese omelet. I can do it even with my eyes closed. It's hub's favorite and the first dish he forcefully asked me to perfect.
4. Do you think you’ll consider cosmetic surgery in the future? Why/why not?
Hmm.. not really. Mahalia! :) <expensive>
5. Have you ever been so involved with a TV show that you cried when the season/run ended?
Meteor Garden! I just dreamed about them last night.
6. Who’s a fictional character you’d like to be best friends with?
I used to wish I was Alex Mack. So if I won't be her, I'll be happy to have her as my best buddy :)
7. What’s the first thing you do upon waking up?
I pray for a safe and fruitful day.
8. How superstitious are you?
Not so much. I have a strong belief that the power of prayer is the most powerful above all.
9. What else would you like to achieve with your blog?
Can't think of any at the moment. I just had it revamped and I am so happy about how it has been so far.
10. When faced with stress, which do you go for: Fight or Flight?
Flight! As in flight! Abroad! Hihihi :)
11. What song calms you down?
This are my "go-to" songs. I listen to it when I am upset or worried, and it has always done magic: God of All Creation and Forever by Hillsong.
