There Will Always Be Better Days

And ours is about to come soon :)

It's our 5th day at the hospital and I am thankful that Lia has already improved a lot. She's getting better and feeling better. Just this morning, when I arrive from home, I caught her standing by her bedside and playing with her milk can -- pushing it using her foot.

Last Friday, she insisted to wear her shoes begging her Daddy to bring her out. It's actually possible to walk along the hallway but we decided not to let her know that, otherwise she'll force us to go out every now and then. 

So her Dad brought her by the window instead, and together they watched the "bum-bums" (cars) passing by.

Yesterday, we got a visit from hubby's side of the family which was a highlight because the kids made the little girl jump on her bed. Also yesterday, with our baby at the hospital, we dropped by Soph's birthday (which is just across the street from the hospital we're in). I am one lucky daughter to have my parents to look after my girl and I was able to see Maqui and Sha again at the party and finally met Fhaye and Sieggy and their tots. I'm really looking forward now to the next mom bloggers meet up :)
