Product Review: NasoClear

Sneezing would probably be one of my favorite things in life. Having allergic rhinitis for almost 14 years, it has become a form of short relief from the irritated eyes, runny nose and itchy ears. Most of my sick leaves at work are due to allergic rhinitis, especially on days when I had to wake up in the wee hours of the morning due to clogged nose and irritated ears.

I've been on anti-histamine for a long time already and on steroid nasal sprays from time to time. Life is so much better with those things however I am trying help myself overcome any dependence on those so I make sure to stay away from medicine, especially steroid sprays. Some of the things that help relief my symptoms are the following:

1. A hot warm bath
2. A cup of green tea
3. Saline solution sprays

Speaking of saline solution sprays, Unilab, in coordination with the Mommy Bloggers Philippines, was so generous and kind to send a sample of their new product that helps in preventing nose infection and reducing risk of allergies.

NasoClear, a quality product from Unilab, contains sodium chloride solution (0.65%), a salt solution that treats dry or irritated nasal passages and works by rinsing and moisturising the nostril.

Indication:
1. Nasal Congestion
2. Cold and flu symptoms
3. Nasal irritation due to pollen, dustmites, mold and pollution
4. Nasal allergies
5. Upper airway cough syndrome (post nasal drip).

How to Use:

1. Tilt your head forward and breathe out. Hold the nozzle between your fingers and squeeze.
2. Spray the solution into one nostril while covering the other nostril.
3. Spray two times in each nostril in the morning and at night.

What I love best about Nasoclear is it's compact size, I can just put it in my bag pocket and carry it with me wherever I go. The size also allows you to have a perfect aim when during application, making sure the spray will directly go to where it should be inside your nose :) Two sprays in each nostril gives me instant relief and clears my nose of harmful particles reducing the risk of allergies.

The plastic bottle of 30ml also complies with international standard of allowed liquid to be put inside your hand-carry luggage inside the airplane so a bottle of NasoClear came handy in my recent trip to Australia. It also has a safety clip that prevents any spilling inside your luggage.

Humidity drops significantly inside an airplane making your skin dry out quickly, and even the inside of your nose. A dry nose can lead to dry throat, which can make breathing more difficult than it should be.

In my eight-hour flight, NasoClear helped me breathe better. It added moisture to my nose and helped dissolve and soften thick or crusty mucus. All that without any pain or discomfort in the application.

NasoClear has now become one of my best friends and things to bring wherever I go. With my perennial allergic rhinitis that can attack anytime, NasoClear will be my armor.
