How was your Valentine's day? I hope you had a wonderful time with your loved ones as much as I did. Did you had plenty of flowers, chocolates and food photos in your news feed? Some were really so OA and cheesy noh? Yes?!
Sorry naman, I am guilty of it too :)
The night before Valentine's day, hubs and I stress ate again to celebrate the end of a tiring and stressful day. As much as I wanted him to save the moolah for flowers, no one can stop him. I have a stubborn husband so when we came home before midnight -- jaraaaaan, there was a bouquet on our bed. Tamis!
Valentine's Day 2014
On the night of V-day, I was snoozing like a baby. That night was one of the nights when my need to sleep was more important than my cravings. I had a long and tiring day -- but a happy one.
It was my daughter's family day on that morning. I was so happy that my hubs was able to attend the event with me. It was our family's Valentine's date, sort of. The program started as early as 8am so it didn't help that we slept late the night before. But everything that follows were all worth it :)
I love how our daughter gave us the paper flowers that she made. She was asked to hid the flowers at her back and I can't forget how her facial expression was, like she was doing something crazy that we didn't know :)
This was how she looked when she was walking towards us.
And this was how it looked like from the back.

And it was just the beginning of surprises. She led us to their main hall where we had our candlelit brekky. Food was served by the kids themselves and we filled our tummies with snacks prepared by the kids as well.
Our sweetheart carefully and gently carried the tray and said "Tanan!" after she had settled everything on our table :)
We had V-day cards too! How cool is that?
When you have a child, those crazy, meaningless and weird scribbles can bring you so much happiness! We were so happy and in-love!
They also prepared a special number for the parents and it was those presentations that made me appreciate pre-school teachers all the more. I know how sometimes it is so hard to deal with a strong-willed and independent child, what more if you have to deal with several of them? And can you imagine telling them to stand in front and perform a dance number? Crazy. Hard! Kudos to all the pre-school teachers :)
Anyhow, we spent the rest of that afternoon at the travel expo in MOA. So if you are wondering how we get to travel a lot while spending not so much moolah? Those travel expos are the key :) And also the Cebu Pacific seat sales. Bow :)
Have a great week ahead!
