Snapshots

I'm a stage mom and proud of it. If taking too much photos of your kid is a crime, then I might be jailed for life. But I know a lot of parents could relate to me when I say that there is something so special about documenting our kid's milestone. And now that technology is accessible to almost everybody, doing so will be so easy -- even a two-year-old can do it!

One time, while waiting for her turn at the doctor's clinic, my little lady grabbed mommy's phone and said "Mommy, itchur!" (Mommy, picture!). It was a fun and cute incident at first, until I realized that she doesn't want to stop.

"Wait Mommy. One, chu, chwee. Mayl!" (Wait mommy. One, two, three. Smile!"

Actual photos were taken by Popot. Filters by yours truly. And yeah, that's me and my (not so) silly face. I even had to pose with "Miming" as told by my stylist/photographer in the form of my daughter.

"Mayl mommy. Mayl Mommy. One, chu, chwee!"

Maybe she was like "it's revenge time mommy!".

Hubs sometimes tease me that I might be stressing my daughter for asking her all the time to pause for a snapshot. I told him that she'll thank me when she grows up coz i was able to capture all her antics. She'll be happy! Or maybe not :)

What do you think? Are you guilty of taking too much snapshots of your kids too? Share your story :)

  2. Like you said, every parent wants to document his/her child's milestones. Kung pwede lang every step, may picture, why not? Hahaha.
