28 Months

We're two months shy from Bibiyow's 30th month and I am just so happy to record this month's milestones.

We just had a bout with urinary tract infection and a viral illness so doctor advised to postpone swimming lessons for now as the untreated pool water may have caused it. We've only used up nearly half of our paid sessions so I am still trying to check if we can get a refund. Otherwise, we can just let it go if that would be what's best for our girl.

She's been absent from school for one week already so Mama's kinda worried that she's way behind the lessons already (competitive!!) especially that their focus now are on animals.

Speaking of animals, I have a feeling Bibiyow's gonna be a veterinarian someday :) Eversince they started talking about animals this month, she's into gathering all her stuffed animals and bringing them wherever she goes. There was even one day when she went to school with a big bag with all her "animals" inside.

Every now and then, we had to fight coz she wants to bring everything out with her. Imagine the hassle when you are just going for a quick trip to 7-11 and she wants to bring all the animals. So I had to always insist that she can only bring one. Of course she will insist too, but I had to be firm. Never a time that she obliges automatically so I sometimes had to carry her crying with "Mimimg" in her arms.

Like Em's Akira, "Miming" (a cat) is Bibiyow's favorite also. Followed by "Dod" (the dog).
Out for a check up. Can you spot Miming?
Just woke up. Photo with her sleeping buddies.

Bibigirl's developing her personality also. Lately, her being OC is becoming more distinct. Hubs said she got it from me but I don't give a fuss with slippers not worn properly, untied shoe laces, an open door, etc. My kid does! The other day, while playing horsey-horsey with Daddy, she did not ride on his back until she's finished fixing Daddy's shirt and made sure no skin is showing off! She can't sleep with an open door, or with lights on at night and she irons the bed sheet using her hands before she lays down. She makes sure every one is present when leaving the house. She lets everybody walk ahead of her and stays with the last person. And if someone is left (like our ate who was locking our doors), she will push her and say "Amon ate. Lesgo" (Come on ate, let's go!"). This is something I have mixed feelings about so let's see how this develops over time.

Aside from pinces, and daysors, she's recently developed a liking towards Pocoyo! The other day, she proudly showed Mommy her Pocoyo moves!

Bibiyow: "Mommy, loot, iyapopot, coyo".
(Momme translation: Mommy, look at Liapopot doing the Pocoyo moves).

Hala sige!! :) Baka maging gymnast ka rin in the future :)

Happiest 28th month my love :)
