Happy Me (A Weekend Story)

I've been too busy to think about this blog lately. The other day, out of nowhere, hubs asked me why I haven't been blogging lately. Well, I have been pretty stressed recently, about work, life and plans and the only thing that can ease away my worries was to sit down and read books to my daughter (yes, Bibiyow's into reading lately! Yeehaa! Post about it, hopefully soon). I've been worrying too much lately. I don't know why, birthday blues, maybe? :)

On the other hand, worrying that I'll get insane soon, hubs has been spoiling me lately. Thank heavens for hubbies! :) And for weekends that serve as reset buttons to rejuvenate your energy after a stressful week. And here's how our weekend went:

Saturday was so gloomy and rainy! Hubs surprised me with sunnies -- what more could I ask for? Especially when it comes with a kikay colorful case! Ayayay!

Saturday afternoon was spent at the Travel Madness Expo at SMX Convention Center. It delighted my heart to see happy people, with eyes full of hope and imagination -- looking forward for a trip to reward themselves for all their hardwork.

That night, prepping the clothes to be taken to the laundry shop brought another surprise. And guess what I found, Php500 bill in one of my shorts' pockets! And wait, there's more! As I was cleaning our closet, I discovered a box of Sakura Green Tea Kitkat -- remnant of our recent Japan trip! Setting aside weight issues (which could be depressing anyway), I ate them all away! Happy night indeed!

And since my baby girl is now into story telling, spent some good hours on Sunday afternoon rummaging at Booksale. I bagged a couple of good reads for her. I also saw Nicholas Spark's Safe Haven. At Php190++, it was in Filipino! That's sounds cool ayt???

Speaking of baby girl, here's what a good nap does to her. Video taken at the parking level of MOA:

Yey! Too many things to be happy about! Indeed, you can never know happiness without being sad first. The reason why we maybe crying today, is because we will be having so much fun tomorrow! It was a happy weekend indeed for me. How was yours??

And P.S.

The curls are back!!
