JAPAN 2013: Getting from Kansai Airport to Hotel Il Cuore Namba

... is really easy! Promise! :)

At first, I was a bit hesitant to take the train from the airport to Il Cuore Hotel Namba. Getting lost is my main concern considering that we are arriving in the evening, plus I have grannies a toddler and all our luggage with me. But, knowing is half the battle! It's just easy!

So here's how to get to Il Cuore Hotel Namba from Kansai International Airport.

After passing the immigration and getting your luggage, do not go out of the main airport door, instead turn left and take the escalator going up and follow the sign leading to the train station. From the escalator, it'll be less than two-minute walk.

Look for the Nankai line ticket corner.

You can buy tickets at ticket machine or via the service center. Each adult ticket cost JPY1,100 (~US$11) for the Nankai Rapi:t β, this is with seat reservation and will take you to Namba Station comfortably in 39 minutes (sharp!!). The regular train ticket (without seat reservation) is cheaper but I suggest you take the Rapi:t because when you just came from a long flight, getting a comfy ride in the next 39 minutes is the best thing you need.

After getting your ticket, go to the entrance across the service center, go down the escalator and you will see this beautiful blue train with the facemask of Ultraman :)

Big luggage can be kept in a designated area near the door. For small bags, you can bring it with you in your seat. The seats can also be turned around if you wish to be sitting face to face with the people at the back of your seats :)

Train Stops
Kansai Airport --> Rinku Town --> Izumisano --> Kishiwada --> Sakai --> Tengachaya --> Shin-Imamiya --> Namba

Namba is the last stop so all the people will alight at this station. You can either use North Exit or Exit #5 to reach Hotel Il Cuore Namba.

From Exit #5 - cross the street (you'll see a shop selling various Japanese beauty products across Exit #5). Walk straight, cross another small street then you will see a Family Mart. Few steps from Family Mart is a small parking lot and the entrance of the hotel.

From North Exit - turn left, straight ahead. Cross the street (you'll see a shop selling various Japanese beauty products across Exit #5). Voila! Easy pissy! Enjoy :)

  5. Bale this is a special train in Japan. The regular ones are not like this. Ang style is like our MRT and LRT trains. But they are much longer, faster, cleaner and better :)

  6. Hello Cris. For this train, hindi valid and ibang passes. The JR pass is for JR lang pero, meron din one day pass for local trains, meron din with bus na ang discount to other tourist destinations. Ang dami kasi nilang train! hahah :)
