Such a tiring day. Full time homemaker again for the weekend. Had to wake up so early to prepare and accompany the little girl to her class then chaperoned her to a birthday party this afternoon. By 7pm, I was already feeling dead tired. But can't sleep yet, had to feed her and prep her for bedtime first and as of this writing (time check: 1044pm), the baby girl is still wide awake! And looks like she won't be sleeping until midnight yet.
I'm tired and sleepy. But I am not complaining. Today is one of those days that I always look forward to. It is one of those days that I can proudly wear a "100% mom and wife" shirt. How can I even complain when this little girl that drives me crazy is also the sole reason why I am getting lots of Happy Mother's Day greetings recently??
Anyhow, I am blogging tonight to celebrate another milestone. I have always envied Mommies who were able to train their kids to use a car seat. We bought an infant car seat when I was still seven months along the way, which was left unused up to this day. My daughter kept on crying so I gave up. You can't blame me, I am a Mom.
So last night, hubs and I gambled and bought a new car seat. It was a blessing from heaven too because we finally found the look that we've always wanted which thankfully was within our budget.
This morning, we kept our fingers crossed and hoped that this time, the spending will be all worth it. We expected some wailing and struggling and everything that's worst. But, surprise-surprise, looks like it's an answered prayer this time :)
She just took her seat and relaxed like a queen. Yeehaaa!! Perfect mother's day gift! Finally, we can make lakwatsa na together :)
Advance Happy Mother's Day to All!!
P.S. I am using Blogger's app now, and thankfully someone heard my prayer again. The latest update now allows photo to be arranged the way you want it in a post. Finally, blogging through the app makes sense now :)
Happy Mother's Day to you and your Mama, Mars! Hugs and kisses!
