Cakes and Balloons (A Weekend Story)

Yeah, I know. It's already midweek and this is a story about how our weekend went.

Anyway, so how was your weekend? Mine was tiring yet happy, to the nth level! It was full of fun as we celebrate one of the most special days of my life, my daughter's birthday :) I was so happy that I almost thought it was my birthday!

Woke up early on a Saturday morning with the sleeping sweetheart beside me.

She was too cute in her sleep so even if our heart resists, we had to wake her up at 10am for her KM class that morning. She woke up with all of us singing her a Happy Birthday song which she later on sang in chorus with us :)

Few minutes after she sank into reality that she's already awake, she bathe with the Lego mermaid, flowers and fishes from one of her birthday gifts that we've opened the night before. (Okay, so we failed the EQ test again!!)

There was brownout that morning so that day's KM class was held at the Krispy Kreme shop. We had an hour of singing and dancing! I gave out lootbags to her classmates and Krispy Kreme generously supplied our balloons and party hats :)

Thank you Krispy Kreme!!!
Later in the afternoon, we had her birthday party at Jollibee. I was lucky to be able to take few photos before my phone's battery went dead. My power bank wasn't helpful too coz I realized, only that afternoon, that I wasn't able to charge it as well. Plus, my lovely sister, whom I gave our digital camera, wasn't able to take photos too coz she got too busy enjoying the party -- very good!!

So here are some snapshots from that afternoon. Photos are from my brother in law who's getting better and better in his craft :) Thank you Kuya Mike!!

This, by far, is my most favorite birthday party that we threw out for my daughter. There was less hassle, or actually no hassle at all (well yes, there are some with one supplier. just one and everything went well smoothly), as Jollibee organized everything. The only thing we needed to do on that day was to show up, enjoy and pay the bill after the party!

Plus, almost all of the people who confirmed came! So Happy!

Going crazy with my Mom-blogger friends :)
Wait there's more, the only gift we wanted was for guests to come and we went home with too much blessings!

Wee! Happy birthday to me Bibiyow :) I'll make another post about the party when the official photos arrive! Happy midweek :)
