What Kept Us Busy Yesterday

I am daydreaming of weekends and holidays now. I wish there's a bill that will make Wednesday a holiday, so that we'll get to work four days a week only (with a holiday in the midweek). Wishful thinking :)

Yesterday was one precious day spent with the little girl. It was a super busy days yet a productive one.

Started the day with a visit to my in laws. And what a perfect timing, they just bought an inflatable pool for the kiddos! We were too lazy to bring the little girl to the pool recently so it was a perfect way to erase our guilt. Her Lola (MIL) and cousin were there and swam with her.

She also biked with the girls while her Dad is playing basketball at his childhood court. It was hot outside but the kiddos did not mind.

We left late afternoon to attend the 3rd birthday party of Mommy Fleur's lovely daughter, Anika.

Lia brought a Big S to the party, as in sumpong. We'll she's irate most of the time recently and I am confused if she's nursing a popping tooth or menopausal already. Hay! Anyhow, it was indeed a lovely afternoon as I get to finally meet Lia's future ninang sa kumpil -- Peachy.

She looks serious in person but is so jolly when we started talking. And I have to say that her daughters are smart and lovely too, just like Architect Peachy. We shared a table all throughout the party but the conversation is so bitin coz they had to leave early. Still a lot of things to catch up, Peachy :)

I am also happy to finally see my old friend Fleur. I remember a midnight when we had to text each other to make sure we get to enroll at the same class at AGSB, which didn't happen because her subjects are more advanced than mine. We weren't able to chat a lot because she was so busy entertaining all the guests in her dainty and fun party :)

With the famous Mommy Fleur. Oily fez lang ang peg namin.
After the party, we immediately went back to Makati to catch the derma at a clinic in Glorietta. The white spots in Lia's legs have been bothering me a lot. It has been there since she was born and seems like not going away. Luckily, the doctor that we went to wasn't able to give us a clear explanation and left me worrying more so I am planning to just get a second opinion soon.

We capped the night with a dinner in one of our favorite fast foods.

Nostalgic moment -- it is! Before it was just me and hubby, now we are three! And the addition ate all our onion rings like a queen! Whhoola!!

Happy midweek :)

  1. Winner ang party ni Anika! I love all the details! And we love BK too! Favorite fastfood resto din namin yan ni Cj until now tumatambay pa din kami dyan. Sarap balik-balikan ang magagandang memories sa mga old tambayan noh? :)
