Weekends are the best part of the week! Agree?? Agree!! And our recent Saturday was really packed and eventful so 'lemme document it in this lengthy post.
Started the day early with an early follow up check up with Dr. Vienne after the little girl's recent hospitalization.

After her check up, we quickly went to the nearby Grams Diner for our brunch. Grams always reminds me of my AGSB days! I always look forward to eating at the then branch near AGSB every Saturday after my class.

After eating, we rushed back to Shang for Lia's first Kindermusik class. We are finally transferring Lia to Kindermusik after attending Gymboree for seven months. It was actually their second class already but we weren't able to attend the first one due to Lia's hospitalization. Turned out, majority of the students transferred to the morning class and we weren't informed so there were no kids other than my daughter that afternoon. But Dr Liz continued the class, thus hubby, Mama and I just pretended to be the other kids that day :)
And because of that, I've got no photos to share because we were all busy. And if you are wondering what the figure above is, those are my tabi socks which I wore in class. Kawaii isn't it?
We strolled around the mall for a few hours and bought shoes for the little girl because recently, we noticed that most of her shoes ("sus" in Lia's vocabulary) are getting smaller (or shall I say her feet are getting bigger) *wink*

After that we finally went to our day's destination: Fun Ranch near Tiendesitas in Pasig. We've planned to bring Lia here two weekends ago but weren't able to do so because she got hospitalized.
We spent most of our time at the Playdium. Though we paid for one hour use of the gym, I had to force Lia to leave after 40 minutes or so. I was so exhausted as if I'm the one who just came out of hospital confinement. She was unstoppable and since the place is designed for little kiddos, I had to crawl and walk in four legs as I ran after my her especially because she kept on pulling me towards the giant slide.
The only thing that stopped her and made her think of Momme was this wiggling bridge.
Haha! I so love the look at her face here, she was so afraid to pass but she successfully went through it after Momme's encouragement.
The only thing I hated that afternoon was when this boy, aged seven maybe, tried to throw a ball at my daughter. I have managed to cover my daughter and the ball hit me hard on my left cheek, masakit! So imagine how painful it could have been if that ball fell into my daughter's tiny face. Pardon me but I really felt like my blood emptied my system and all the pressure went into my head! I showed the kid my wide-eyed babatuhin-din-kita look and his face suddenly showed fear, but he still kept on throwing balls at us. So I had to stand up and tell him that I will call his Mom (though I really do not know who the Mom is) to let her know that he's bullying my daughter. And then the kid ran away.
Haay, ohmygulay -- the incident is making me think twice if I am ready to send Lia to school na. I am not really a wild person, and I know I should have not threatened the kid but the thought of my fragile tiny little lady being bullied makes me one crazy Momma! And with that, I still have plenty of room for improvement. So help me God.
P.S. so we don't have a yaya/maid yet. Apparently, the one that we are supposed to fetch tonight from the agency had to go home earlier this morning because of a sick son. It probably is a sign na rin. Last night kasi, I prayed hard and asked God for a favor. I prayed that if she is the one, then please allow us to meet her tonight. But if not, then please intervene and do something that will hinder us from getting her. Of course I didn't wish anything bad to happen to her, but probably what just happened is the best for both parties. So, I am waiting
If I where in your shoes I'll do the same thing too when they bully my child. That's what I hate about childhood- ung mga bully na yan! Anyway, good to know that Lia is back to her normal self. Pwdeng pwde na sila maghabulan ni Cyler. :))
ReplyDeleteOnga eh, ang liit pa naman ng dalaga ko. Haay, malamang kasama niya ako sa school everyday. Dalawa kaming papasok. Hahah :)
