First Monday of March

It’s been a gloomy Monday for me. It started when I finally decided to purchase the Titanic soundtrack album that I’ve been eying last Friday. As I listen to the tracks, it gave me goose bumps and nostalgic moments that I had to stop listening otherwise I wouldn’t be able to stop tears from falling from my eyes. I was so moved to that extent (okay, so I shouldn’t be surprised now at how in touch my daughter is with her emotion).

Are you a fan ofTitanic? Because I am, since then. Plus this album has a sentimental value to me.

I used to have a cassette tape of the same album, I was 12 when my cousin, who was a college student that time, gave it to me. He was a fan of the movie too. I remember him giving me a cardboard fan with Leonardo Di Caprio’s face and some quotes from the movie plus some posters of Kate Winslet. We share the same love for the movie and the OST My Heart Will Go On. He is one of my favorite cousins. Too bad he had to go too early almost nine years ago, leaving his wife and two kids, the youngest that time was one month old. I miss him. But I am sure he is in good hands now, and probably laughing at me if he happens to be reading this post. He is probably thinking that I didn’t outgrow my fascination with the Titanic and with Celine Dion, which I am sure he didn’t, too. He loved the music, I know. I just know :)

Anyhow, on a separate topic – I happen to be not so lucky in finding a maid/yaya for our household. The last one got sick and had to seek medical help so we had to let her go. We are already used to not having one, but with the recent hospitalization of my daughter, Mama finally wants some reinforcement. She isn’t getting any younger while my daughter is getting more and more terrible as she progresses toward her second birthday.

So today, I finally got a call from the agency that we can finally pick up the new person tomorrow. Haay, here I am again feeling my worries and fears about having a stranger again in the house. Please help me pray that this will be a better one. I don’t expect her to last a lifetime with us, she has a life too, but I wish she will break the six-month record of our previous helpers. At least seven months, hopefully, maybe.

Hay! There will be better days! And I claim that tomorrow will be one of those.

On a lighter side, I finally got the sticker gift tags that I ordered from Paper Treats and I love 'em all! Check their Facebook Page for more info.

Also, I just joined the first blogversary of Aimee. May the odds be ever in my favor. Haha!

Still, a Happy Monday to everyone! And here’s to wishing you all a blessed week :)
