22 Months

Lia turned 22 months yesterday. Oh my gulay, I am having a two-year-old soon. It's a bittersweet reality. Gone is my sweet-smelling and tinee-weeny plump infant. What's left is an active little toddler who is the exact opposite of her clumsy parents :)

 

I read horoscope predictions and a source says people born on my daughter's birthdate are mostly sporty and are characterized by love of freedom and independence. No wonder :) At 22 months, here are her likes and dislikes.

Likes: 
- Balls (basketball, volleyball, billiards and anything that is sphere and round - oranges, tapioca pearls etc)
- Horse (she love dogs, but the sight of horse, in a polo shirt, on TV etc, excites her)
- Playing horsey-horsey
- Singing (with eyes closed and mostly in falsetto)
- Dancing (see video below)
- Barney, High Five and Mickey Mouse
- Fish (the cooked one! She calls any meat on your plate, fish)
- Bags (can't leave the house without a bag, what the??)
- Kissing, cuddling and wrestling!!!!
- Daddy (oh boy, what's with Daydee?? She was in my tummy for nine months!)

Dislikes:
- Waking up early (or there will be waaar!)
- Tooth Brushing (at 22 months, she already has five tooth pastas! Can you believe??? Will blog about it soon)


My lovely baby girl,

You are getting more and more energetic each day and harder and harder to please. Why so early? You are not suppose to choose your clothes and shoes yet. Momme's fashion sense may not be as good as your Dad's, but please leave it to me for now. You will have your time soon, and when that time comes, I will be happy to let you choose your own wardrobe (and as a bonus, you can choose for Momme, too).

You found a playmate at Ayala Triangle Gardens yesterday. Or actually, you forced him to play with you. He was there with his friend to enjoy and to have fun and you ruined the picture by staying in between them. Afraid that that you might be hit by the ball, he let you play with it instead. Stopping you from playing with them is a different story. And it's a big one!

Grocery shopping may be one of my least favorite things to do. But you enjoyed the trip last night. Again, getting you out of that cart was a story, a big one :)

What you were doing on that video, definitely did not come from me! You rock beybi! :)
