Hearts and Love Here and Everywhere

It’s Valentine’s Day! While other lovebirds are in a romantic dinner tonight, I am at home, watching Ina, Kapatid, Anak (for the first time) with Mama and Bibiyow. Hubby has class tonight so I went home alone earlier.

For some reasons, I feel like it's Christmas today. Everybody seems so happy and loving! My FB newsfeed is bombarded with photos of flowers, hearts, chocolates and anything red. So to jive with the crowd, here's a #throwbackthursdays photo from my IG account (@planetmarsy).

Last night, hubby surprised me with a dinner at New World Hotel. It was good that we celebrated our V-day in advance, aside from hubby having a class tonight, we were saved from the love rush and traffic jam that comes along with the unlimited flow of flowers and chocolates today. Also last night was perfect because there were only few people at Cafe 1228, the place was cozy and we had a lovely dinner and time together.

After dinner, we rushed home to catch up with the bibigirl who've just started dozing off when we arrived. Sorry, call me a bad Momme but I couldn't resist kissing my innocent-looking cutie pie sleeping like an angel. She woke up after my powerful kiss and immediately played with Daydee, as if she didn't just came from her sleep. Being a night person that she is, she was awake until 2:30AM! Good thing I had to stay late also to bake some V-day cuppies for hubby's staff.

I am not really so confident with this set that I made, but I hope they liked them. Something went wrong with the baking process last night and I really hope the machine had nothing to do with it -- oh pretty please.

Back to V-day, I really love the ambiance today. I hope it's Valentine's and Christmas every day, when all the people have all this positive vibes in their veins.
