Halloween Party #2: Tita-Ninang's Workplace

When my sister invited Lia to join their office Halloween Party, the stage momma in me immediately confirmed. The grannies, who are just as excited as me, couldn't be so happier. Since I have work, Mama and Yaya Weng played the PA role while Papa was the driver.

I was in constant communication as soon as they arrived at the venue. I told them: "Please take lots of photos!". But I guess it's with the age, or with all the excitement, Mama replied "Nakalimutan ang camera saka yung pumpkin basket nya". (We forgot to bring the camera and her pumpkin basket).

Sus ginuo!! Buti na lang my sister forwarded to me some of the official photos and other photos taken by her officemates.

And some of them are really just weird ones.

Feel na feel ng anak ko ang pagka-amazona nya :)

They were supposed to pick me up after the event. Few minutes before my time out, Papa texted "Nhe mamaya p kme antay nmn ang final, nominado ang anak mo s best in costume 10 cla." (We can't leave yet, your daughter is part of the top 10 for the best in costume). Oh diba? I wouldn't even be surprise why I am a stage momma! Like father, like daughter!

After the top 10, they were trimmed down into top 5 and from there three winners were chosen. And the second best in costume award went to…….

… POCAHONTAS!

Her costume here was enhanced by her  mocassins (a word I’ve only learned from Maggie) that is actually more expensive than her over-all costume combined! Sulit na rin with the happiness it brought to the whole family.

Meanwhile, we have yet to decide on what to do with her first ever "modeling" pay.
