Initially, I have a notion that all accommodations at Station 1 in Boracay are expensive. I didn’t even realize that I was wrong until this second visit. So if you are looking for an affordable place to stay in the station where they say the shore is better and wider – I suggest you try out Mr. Holidays Hotel.
Located just beside Discovery Shores and tucked at the back of Blue Wave Hotel, Mr. Holidays hotel is not too shabby but is strategically located to give you the best access to the beach.
In front of the hotel is a Moroccan restaurant, a Paluto Kitchen with choices from seafood to Filipino favorites such as sinigang, pancit and adobo. And I will definitely not forget to mention the food haus in front of Blue Wave that serves the best tasting cheese burger that I’ve had in Boracay!
Considering that it was a peak season, we were lucky to get a Deluxe room with two beds on our second day. We used the room for the day only because we have already prepaid our accommodation at Kikko’s prior to arrival. Our room was simple yet spacious with flat a screen LCD TV, an in-room safe and an open drawer to store your things. Regular rate of our room is Php3,500 (peak rate) but we got it with 20% discount since no one will be using the room anyway on that day.
I love that their wash area is located just outside the T&B.
Customer service is superb too. They were actually surprised when we were checking out that evening with all our plastic bags and abubots. They offered to carry our things to our next destination, which on that night was D’Mall for dinner. Beach towels and umbrellas are also available for their guests’ perusal.
In God’s grace, we will come back to Bora and will definitely stay here. One minor thing about our stay on that day was that we noticed that there were few mosquitos in the room. Probably because the room was left open for a long time prior to our arrival. Other than that (which I also think they seriously should take into consideration), everything for me is okay :)

Hi Mars! Is Boracay for families? Kill me for I haven't even set a foot there. Why? Same reason as why it took me a loooong time to go to Enchanted Kingdom. But I guess I'm ready to go to BOracay now. Oh wait, I am mentally ready but my lovehandles aren't pa pala. Haha!
ReplyDeleteNaku Dew, I am sure Raviv will love it! Promise! Do not worry about the love handles, you will feel insecure at the love handles of other mommies there! Keber ang extra baby fats, bonggels :)
