One And Counting!!!

Guess who just turned one yesterday?

Wee! (you can read about my first ever blog entry here)! 

I know, I should have blogged about it yesterday, but I was too busy the whole day at work and too busy playing hide and seek at home with bibiyow until 12mn!!

The main reason why I put up this blog is just like that of other mommy bloggers’ – to document every milestone of my child. I can still remember how puzzled I had been when I first logged on to www.blogger.com, the time I spent in figuring out my very first layout, the color combination, and all. And ever since that night, it has been a wonderful journey. It has been a year of never ending learning as a parent, never ending discovery of other mommy tips and stories from other mommy bloggers, never ending meeting of new virtual friends, never ending fun and friendship!

I started this blog when Lia was five-month-old, on the night of the first ever Halloween Party that she attended (read about it here). My very first formal entry was her fifth month birthday celebration (read it here) when she was just this small:

During that time, she can barely stand but was already so demanding (like she is today when she wants to go out of our unit), stressing her mom out to produce breast milk for her.

Now, a year after, here she is:

A mobile and "know-it-all" toddler who acts like an adult trapped in a cutie patootie baby's body. She runs fast like a cheetah and roars like a lion. 

But wait, there’s more!!

I don't know if half of that is just me, because definitely it isn't hubby. Or probably my new circle of friends (aka mom-bloggers) :) But still, my heart is swollen with happiness to know that there are people who actually spends some time in reading my story, despite how uninteresting and boring it is.

So, THANK YOU-THANK YOU!!!

It's been a year, and it has been a happy journey. Once more, lovely readers, thank you for being here in the past year. I hope we'll still be together in the coming years or so as I continue my journey in this road called mommy-hood.
