Our trip to the north wouldn't be complete without a stop over Gerona, Tarlac's Tacsiapo Restaurant, or actually Isdaan Floating Restaurant. While on the road en route to Our Lady of Manaog on our very first visit years ago, hubby kept on bragging about how nice this restaurant is – which he proudly called Tacsiapo. Upon arrival, we both found out that Tacsiapo is just one of the attractions and Isdaan Floating Restaurant is really its name :)
Our last visit here, which was two years ago, wasn't so fun at all. Apparently I was already conceiving that time hence the lack of appetite. Nothing in our order actually pacified my stubborn tummy that time.
Now, fresh from my Isdaan Laguna experience (read here), I can't help but compare how it looked like two years ago. Seems like the little sister in South is looking a lot better than this one up North.
I guess the gloomy weather, my not so good camera and my inability to produce a perfect shot has something to do with the pictures. Or maybe, the place is really isn't as clean and as attractive compared before :(
Nevertheless, I had so much fun this time with the bibiyow, my two mommies, hubby and Papits! Lia even tried to feed the fishes and she had so much fun, too!
She even enjoyed the complimentary balloon and lollipop! And she had fun playing peek-a-boo with the roosters! Baaa!

The food was ahmmm…. Fine. But quite pricy. We paid more than Php2,000.00 including senior discounts for the three grannies. The singing trio is still there, and the place still offers various entertainments for the guests. Though, I really can’t help but say again that the younger sister is looking more attractive now. But one good thing is that, they are now accepting credit cards! Finally! :)
Anyhow, we'll probably still drop by next year when we visit Inay. Probably - Maybe :)

I've always wanted to try that resto! Been reading about "Tacsiapo" in a lot of blogs. It looks like a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteI guess its just the gloomy weather and the place is really isn't as clean as it looks, Mars. :)
