We are finally home1!
After three days of staying at the hospital - we are finally back to the comfort and warmth (contrary to the really cold temp at Asian) of our humble home!
Actually, I was a bit emotional when we were leaving the hospital, not that I will miss the place ha. I was teary eyed because of extreme happiness!
I was so happy that my daughter is finally well, nothing to worry anymore.
I was so happy that finally, she is free from her IV. Her left hand is back!
And I was so happy to see that she is so happy! My bibiyow is wild and freee!!
I am also so thankful to all the people who showed their care to my sweetheart. It is really nice to feel the warmth and support of friends and families. I could have not survived all the stress and puyat without my parents who have been playing as my daughter's second parents, too. Indeed, there really is something about the saying that no man is an island :)
I guess it was not only me who was thankful. Even my little girl was. In fact, she left a love note for the friendly nurses who took care of her during her stay. She wrote it by the window so she they can easily see :)
We are home sweet home today catching up on the days we've spent at the hospital. The laundry is a little up and high and I can already feel the dusts on the floor. There are lots of "uninteresting" things to do that I feel so lazy about. Still, being in an untidy home with a healthy baby is far more better than being in a hotel-like hospital with a sick baby by the hotel bed.
Yeeeehaaa!
PS. Thank You Lord for Dr. Saulog, she is a gem!

ReplyDeleteIt's really hard when you have a sick little baby, I think that's the one of toughest part of being a Mom. It's hard to decipher a sick baby. Anyhoo, good to hear that your adorable Lia is now ok. Cheers to that! And thank God! ;)
