Lia's First: Swimming!!!

Just when I thought that the weekend will just pass without seeing my little girl swim play in the water with her new "simsut", Mama had a very bright idea of bringing out our batya (laundry tub) to let Lia experience "swimming" the old fashion way.

I remember seeing two separate baby photos of myself and my sister doing the same thing back in our province :)

It was perfect that it was brutally hot last Sunday morning so we did not worry much that Lia will feel too cold. Plus, we added some hot water in the tub to make sure that the water temperature is somewhat lukewarm. So there, dressed in her yellow floral bikini swimwear, we let our little girl scream in delight while we all giggle with excitement.

Nakakaloka ka anak, you really make us crazy with happiness! Next time promise, we'll bring you to the Club House to experience a real pool. Or maybe, in an inflatable pool (Calling sponsors, hehehe!)

  1. Is Lia's pedia by any chance Dr. Saulog? We went to her clinic last weekend and I thought I saw a baby that looks like Lia. Or was it really her?

    1. Buti hindi ko binati hahaha I was really tempted to say "Hi Lia" hahaha I was looking for you so when I realized there's nobody there who looked like you in your pics here, i figured baka kamukha lang.

      Anyway, her clinic is in Paseo de Magallanes in Makati. Ive been meaning to write a post about it but I couldnt find the time :(

    OMG! the struggle talaga. Kawawa nmn. Naku, wait till she becomes 2. Pahirapan lalo yan. You'll end up with creative ideas just to get her off the the pool :)
